I love mushrooms.  I am straightforward and honest about it because of the profound influence psilocybe cubensis has had in my life.  Cultivating, ingesting, and making art about mushrooms all contribute to the high vibration on which I am fortunate to live.  Rather than being “woo-wwo” head in the clouds sentiments, it is scientifically proven that my assertions that both microdosing and macrodosing regularly have improved my life greatly have much merit.  Through consistent journaling and self-assessment, I can chart my path of wellness through psychedelic exploration.

I share my journey with my audience because people hunger to know more about how they can take their own wellness into their hands.  I am honest about my mental health challenges and how I integrate cannabis and psilocybin in tandem to address issues that arrive.

Dosing

These are not hard and fast numbers, but I find they are generally true for the people with whom I interact.

Dose Weight Effect
Microdose 0.1 – 0.35 grams At 1/10th to 1/20th a “normal” dose, microdosing provides sub-perceptible stimulation that sharpens focus, clarifies ideas, banishes anxiety, and promotes lasting “flow.”
Festival 0.35  – 1 gram Sensory input is increased significantly.  A simple walk in the park can feel like the most magnificent jaunt through a vibrant forest.  All activity is suddenly way more fun!
Introspective 1  – 3.5 grams The realm of self-assessment and major therapy…from yourself.  Tears are very frequent in this space…but they feel so good (except when they do not…)
Outer space 3.5 – wherever I actually need to get closer to 5 grams to begin to focus outside myself and to explore the outer realms, but everyone’s body is different.

My Current Microdosing Protocol

Intuitive – that means if and when I FEEL to do so, I take a dose of 0.1 grams of psiloycbin mushrooms stacked with Turkey Tail (for my immune system) and Lion’s Mane (for my brain health) mushrooms.
